The minors division consist of girls 7 to12 year olds. This division is a player pitch division with coach pitch used in limited combination for the first three to four weeks of the season. This division does keep score, division standings, a double elimination post season tournament and All-Stars. In this division ALL Minor division players must go through a Mandatory Player Evaluation process except for the coach's daughter and one assistant coach's daughter. All girls are placed on a team. A draft process is used by the coaches in this division. If a 7 or 8 year old is not drafted by a coach the player will be placed on a Ponytail division team. All girls will be placed on a team whether they are drafted or not. 12 years old will only be assigned to a minors division team if that particular girl does not have the skill set to participate in the Major's division.

The decision to move a 12 year old to the minor's division is decided upon by the league President, Major Division Director, Minor Division Director and the parents of the particular player.

In the Minors division there are "No Player Property Rights". This means every girl re-enters the draft every year and no team stays together year to year. NO player can request a certain coach, except for the coach's daughter and one assistant coach's daughter. The assistant coach must be designated before the Player Evaluation day. This is a draft process only, no request can be honored.

Please check the Calendar section on the Home Page of our web site to be aware of the Mandatory Player Evaluation date and other dates regarding the league.

All division will play by Little League Incorporation rules and guidelines with only a few exceptions.
