What a Great Year Gilbert Softball had in All-Stars!Congratulations to the Gilbert Softball
Little League Junior All-Star
team for taking 1st place in the district 14 All-star
tournament and 2nd place in the State All-Star tournament.
The girls met and overcame their first
challenge by beating Queen Creek twice in the District 14
tournament. They then went on to the State tournament where
they sent home 4 of the 7 teams (Benson, Glendale, Taylor
and Blyth) in the tournament. The Championship game came
down to Sunnyside (last years Western Conference Champs) and
Gilbert. Our girls played a great game holding Sunnyside to
only 5 runs but came up a little short losing 5-0.
GREAT GREAT job Gilbert girls! What an
awesome accomplishment!
